A lot of times people set up their social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn for business in Orange County. But they don’t post on them, they don’t post consistently and they kind of leave them after creation. People who end up going to these social media sites are wondering if the business is still running because there are no valuable content posted on it.

An important thing to do is set up a game plan. You want to make sure you are consistent with your social media marketing and you have a clear focus.  Identify the strength of each social media platform and focus on their purpose.

One of the great way to do this is by using a Google calendar. You can set up what and when you are going to post! Make Monday a Pinterest day for example. Post on Pinterest at least once a week, pin some interesting or popular topics, images and videos related to your business. Funny quotes and pictures are eye-catching too. Pin some post from your blog.

Posting three times a day on Facebook is a lot but sometimes it proves effective work on some companies. Post at least once a day or five times a week on your Facebook business page. Facebook actually makes it easy for you. You can plan out your week of posting by pre-scheduling your post for the entire week instead of doing it live to manage your time more consistently. You can make changes or cancel your scheduled post any time you want. There are actually a lot of popular applications or automation tools available like Hootsuite that you can use for posting on the Facebook business page, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts. Hootsuite is an effective social tool if you are going to post on it yourself or if you are not going to hire a social media manager. Communicate and interact with your audience, get engagement and likes too.

Stay consistent with your social media marketing and find tools that make sense for you. It will reward you in the long run with better engagement and visibility.
